Chef Wiffin was hired in the summer of 2001 to restructure the kitchen and lead restaurant staff to a new level of excellence. He is the creative force behind Rushes' menu and cuisine.
Trained at the Savoy in London, Chef Wiffin worked for six years in England and Africa before moving to Ottawa in the early 1980s. For 17 Years in Ottawa he applied his culinary talents as Executive Chef for three of the city's finest hotels: Four Seasons, Ottawa Hilton and the Sheraton. Most recently, he worked as Executive Chef of Eurest, the fine dining restaurant of the Museum of Civilization.
Chef Wiffin is also a licensed helicopter pilot and avid golfer.
